The device is an X-ray diffractometer from Malvern PANalytical (Empyrean, 3rd Gen). The device can be equipped with either a silver, copper, or chromium tube to enable a wide range of measurement applications. A large-area CdTe detector (GaliPIX3D) is available as a detector, enabling simultaneous measurement of an angle range of approx. 7°. Additional features include a capillary spinner, a high-temperature oven chamber (up to 1200 °C – can be combined with the capillary spinner), microfocus optics, and a 5-axis positioning table. The appropriate X-ray optics are available for all measurement methods.
