Kurze Beschreibung des Gerätes (maximal 5000 Zeichen):
The JEOL JXA iSP100 electron-probe microanalyzer (EPMA), also know as electron-microprobe, integrates a scanning electron microscope with wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectrometers. The instrument is equipped with secondary electron (SE), back-scattered electron (BSE) and cathodolumniescence (CL) detectors, an energy-dispersive silicon drift type X-ray spectrometer and five wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectrometers. One X-ray spectrometer has a large radius (L-type) geometry equipped with large analyzer crystals, most importantly a large TAP crystal. This significantly improves the count rates for fluorine and results in lower detection limits and better precision in F-bearing silicate minerals. The electron-probe microanalyzer permits quantitative analysis of the major and minor element composition (typically with detection limits down to 0.1 or 0.05 mass percent) of a wide range of solid materials, including sulfide, silicate, carbonate and other minerals, natural and synthetic glasses, ceramic materials, and metal alloys.
